If you live on Oahu or are planning to visit this holiday season, don't think for a second that because the weather is balmy and the winter visitor season is in full force that Hawaii doesn't have you covered for all things Christmas.
From holiday parades to visits with Santa, and tree lightings, Oahu knows how to get festive!
The Honolulu Hale City Lights run from December 3rd through January 2nd and are an annual tradition of lights, fun, and a spectacular tree donated by a local family.
This year, the Show Aloha Land at Aloha Stadium is bigger and better with a drive-through light show, walk-through light show, and a fully stocked food court. They advertise a mega tree and appearances by none other than Santa himself. And get this, new this year... fresh snow where the kids can go tobogganing!
Finally, the Blaisdell Arena is a yearly hub for holiday events including craft fairs, and of course, The Nutcracker, put on every year by the Ballet Hawaii.
Mele Kalikimaka, everybody!
